Soon later, she realizes the truth about Chizuru and decides to hire her. She teased Chizuru for a while, but she wasn't shy in criticizing her relationship with Kazuya. Mami's demeanor shifts from happy to irritated when Chizuru questions her about her true emotions for Kazuya. Before leaving, she advises Chizuru to mind her own business. Mami runs into Kazuya on college and informs her that she is aware of Chizuru and Sumi's occupations. She shows worry for Kazuya and pushes him to quit renting girlfriends and find a real partner.
During this time, she pays visits to Kyousuke and they listen to classical music that she has carefully chosen for him. Later, she witnesses Mami's battle with the witch Ulla. Mami cautions Sayaka to consider her request carefully and her genuine intentions—whether she wants to cure him for his own sake or to get praise from him. The following day, she and Madoka discover a Grief Seed on the verge of activation. Sayaka resolves to remain at the location with Kyubey to keep an eye on the Seed, while Madoka searches for Mami. Sayaka and Kyubey are caught in the barrier as the Seed starts to ignite. When Madoka returns with Mami, Sayaka instructs Kyubey to create a telepathic link with the others in order to guide them over the barrier. Mami and Madoka eventually meet up with Sayaka and Kyubey, and they all proceed to slay the witch Charlotte together. Sayaka witnesses Mami's death and Homura's solo defeat of the witch, prompting Sayaka to become enraged at Homura for fighting alongside rather than saving Mami.
Mami, please forgive me []
"Worship's doppelganger. It takes the shape of a Nimbus. In a time of despair on the darkest of nights, the master of this feeling embraced redemption. As a consequence, she was mysteriously granted the power to overcome her previous dread and worry. This pathetic Doppel's appearance has altered as a result of its master's mental condition, prompting it to feel it can be a rescuer. Tiro Saint Doppelion is a sign of fresh hope for all despondent females."
Homura is a young girl with black hair that falls to her waist and violet eyes. She usually always appears in the current timeline with an emotionless, grim expression on her face and a black hairband on her head. Long before she realized the horrors of her fate in prior times, she wore red glasses with two interlaces of braided hair with purple bows, leading her hair to branch out in two sides in the current moment when the braids were removed.
