Oregairu is an excellent player in my opinion. It covers a wide range of topics, including social standards, how individuals behave in different circumstances, and relationship analysis. The characters are fascinating enough, albeit they donât change much in the first season. Is Oregairu a slice of life?
"She and I both know there's a lot simpler way to explain what we want, but we don't believe that's the correct way to do it, so the least we can do is try not to make any errors." (To Yukino) "It's OK. No matter how much of a pain or annoyance you are, it's fine. I may really prefer it that way."
Yukino mentions in Volume 12 and the drama CD that it snowed at the time of her birth, so her parents named her Yukino, which literally means snow in Japanese. Her family is on good terms with Hayato's family. Their families' relationship is unknown to many in the school. During her childhood, Haruno would watch over both Hayama and her when their parents were on a business trip.
The ship sailed as a result of a lot of ship tease between the two over the three seasons (LN, manga). Being the heavily teased ship between Hikigaya Hachiman, the prontagonist, and Yukinoshita Yukino, the main heroine who was portrayed as a possible love interest, HachiYuki gained a lot of popularity over the years, becoming one of the most popular romcom couples in animes.
