Quelaag's Domain is nearly a welcome respite from the tumult and mayhem of Blighttown. Sure, you have to face a lava-spewing spider woman right away, but at least you aren't continually poisoned. Once Quelaag has been defeated, go to the rear of the chamber and ring the second Bell of Awakening. There are no pick-up items in this area, however there is one campfire. It's just concealed. Head down the steps after ringing the second bell. There is an inoperable elevator and a wall that seems to be a door. Hit the wall to get access to the campfire and the two NPCs in this section. There is also a road leading out of here that goes to the Demon Ruins.
Witch of Chaos Quelaag is a Dark Souls boss. Quelaag is the daughter of the Witch of Izalith, and she and the majority of her family were corrupted by the chaotic flame. Quelaag and her sister altered as a result of their exposure to the flame. Witch of Chaos Quelaag is a Dark Souls boss. Quelaag is the daughter of the Witch of Izalith, and she and the majority of her family were corrupted by the chaotic flame. Quelaag and her sister turned into spider-like creatures after being exposed to the flame, with their upper bodies linked to the monsters' backs. She is the elder sister of the Fair Lady. She escaped with her sister after their mother, the Witch of Izalith, and their other two sisters became the Bed of Chaos.
The idea is to use your weapon to go past Quelaag's strike from the side or back. When she pets her spider's head, it implies lava vomit is on its way, but it also means you have plenty of time to go around back. Quelaag will unleash a lethal wide-radius assault if you linger too near for too long. Back away when you see her human shape bend down and her spider form coil up! If you go too far away from Quelaag, she will rush at you and fling lava at you. This is difficult to dodge (typically sliding forward beneath her as she flies towards you helps), so don't go too far.
3. The area where you will encounter Chaos Witch Quelaag is down the tunnel. When you're finished, go to the other side of the chamber and ring the second Bell of Awakening. (Keep an eye out for the hole on the floor; if you don't have enough Vitality, this drop will kill you.) 4. There is a stairway to the right of the Bell lever; lower it and face the tunnel that leads to the Demon Ruins. An imaginary wall is to your right. Striking the wall will allow you to enter the area with Quelaag's Sister and Eingyi in front of a bonfire. It is important to note that there is little sense in igniting it.
