(06/16/2017, 07:36) Hitcher penned: You'll also need to rename the skin in addon.xml. It would be a fantastic addition if I had Python abilities. That was my initial attempt, however it did not work. I don't mind having to zip it and then unzip it. I have to do that anyhow if I want to watch it on my FireTV. I'm having a lot of trouble with an overlay I'm attempting to create. It worked the first time, but then I changed the grid's shade, and now the translucent sections are darkened when I apply it. This is the file "scanlines.png" that I use with MAME. I based it after the CRT overlay in Nes.Emu, Md.Emu, and other emulators. I'm attempting to make a video overlay using the same design. I believe the issue is with Paint.net, which I'm using to convert that 32x32 picture to 1920x1080. I have a feature request for something like this. Once retroplayer is included into Kodi, it seems to be a necessity. It would be nice to be able to choose an overlay picture for videos as well. You went above and above for me, so thank you one again!
PNGkit has selected Overlay Scanline - Thumb - - Portable Network Graphics as a popular image resource on the Internet. The picture is in PNG format and has a translucent backdrop thanks to the PS tool. It has a resolution of 640x480 and may be modified at any moment after downloading to suit your requirements. Scanline Overlay - Thumb - - Portable Network Graphics is about overlay, twitch overlay, flower overlay. PNGkit images are sourced from the public internet and user uploads. You may get it for free if you are a designer, content poster, marketer, or educator.

When I set RetroPie to 240p, everything appears the same, but less crisp. Although emulation is not the same as original hardware, I am attempting to replicate the experience as nearly as feasible. EDIT: I was having difficulties with the resolution of the default overlay. The lower resolution works, but not to the level I had hoped. There is way too much of a rolling effect going on. Because the same thing was occurring with shaders, I decided to experiment with an overlay. Well, thanks for your assistance!
