On November 21, 2017, the live-action drama adaption was initially revealed. The drama premiered on MBS on January 14, 2018, and on TBS' Dramaism on January 16, 2018. The opening theme, "Ichi ka Bachi ka," is performed by Re:versed, while the theme song, "Strawberry Feels," is performed by BIGMAMA. In May 2018, the drama was available on Netflix in Japanese with subtitles in English, Spanish, and Chinese. The plot follows the first half of the anime season of Kakegurui. A few adjustments were made to the tale, but it still closely follows the original. Following the second half of the first Kakegurui anime, a second season premiered on April 1, 2019. The opening theme is still Ichi ka Bachi ka, performed by PassCode this time. BIGMAMA sings the concluding theme "mommy mummy." Yumemi's actress, Sayuri Matsumura, sang an insert song called "Meguri Megutte in your pocket."
