Emojis on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV are rendered using the Apple Color Emoji font, which is installed on iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. Animoji and Memoji are supported by several Apple devices. Two characters from the Private Use Area are not cross-platform compatible but do operate on Apple devices: iOS 15.4 was released in March 2022, and it contained fresh new emojis from Emoji 14.0, the most recent batch of emoji suggestions published in September 2021.
